WW2 G.S.T.P. by Jaeger-Le-Coultre.

A working example of a pocket watch with a movement of the highest possible grade being used to fulfil a specific military requirement, this ' General Service Trade Pattern ' by Jaeger-Le-Coultre fulfils this criteria. Nickelled brass case marked to reverse ' GS/TP F004557 Broad Arrow, with white dial retaining it's luminous indications to 3, 6, 9 and 12 and both hands. Case contains a fifteen jewelled calibre 467/2 movement which was entirely produced in-house by Jaeger Le Coultre in Le Sentier. Introduced in 1943 the movement carries the signature “Jaeger LeCoultre, Swiss Made” on the bridge, with the calibre number stamped next to the balance wheel, it appears to be running perfectly. Rubbing and light marking to case and flaking to dial , which appears to be stable, this is a genuine example, priced to reflect the damage.
