K98 Bayonet and Frog - Matching numbers.

Pre War ( 1938 ) K98 bayonet by E.U.F Horster with matching numbers ' 1281 ' to bayonet and scabbard contained in the standard leather frog. Bayonet and scabbard both manufacturer marked and dated with numerous acceptance stamps, frog unmarked. Both bayonet and scabbard appear in the white with no evidence of having been blued whether this was by design or by contemporary polishing I cannot say. V.Good + condition.This bayonet was acquired along with buckle ( item 7783 ) and two daggers directly from a veteran's family.
