A good quality officer's field service cap for member of the 10th Gurkha Rifles. Constructed out of fine Melton type wool with black cording to crown, horn, King's crown rifles buttons with a black officer's boss surmounted with silver 10th Gurkha Rifles device. Glazed cotton lining with maker's label of ' Ranken & Co. Ltd., India '. It is named and dated to a Lt.M.K.Chatterton 22/03.44. In excellent condition with three minor areas of moth grazing
