No.74 Anti-Tank Grenade ' Sticky Bomb '.

British No.74 MkI Anti-Tank Grenade ' Sticky Bomb '. Featuring a glass globe ( that would originally been filled with nitro ) covered with stockinette impregnated with adhesive. A bakelite handle contained the fuze and igniter retained by a steel handle and pin with attendant label warning thrower not to remove pin before throwing. The globes were originally covered by two hinged sheet metal hemispheres to protect the thrower from the adhesive and were then removed before throwing, they are unfortunately, no longer present. Adhesive stockinette has now dried out, safety lever manufacturer marked with igniter pocket present. Good, overall condition, strippable. Scarce.
