WW2 Souvenired Japanese Model 32 Helmet.

Standard issue Japanese Model 32 steel helmet. Retaining 85%+ of it's original olive paint and metal star. Poor quality leather liner remains although there has been some damage to the two of the sections and padding inner sacks have been removed. Ribbon chinstrap missing although partial suspension system remains. A name appears in characters around the inner rim which appears to have been repeated to the reverse of one of the liner padding cotton envelopes. A further anglicised name ' R.Fleming ' appears in white paint also to the rim, no doubt applied by the original finder. Over painted character to rear of the rim indicating size. A good, untouched Japanese combat helmet.
