WW2 German M24 Stick Grenade.

An original example of the German M24 stick grenade , the standard model used by German forces in WW2. Original Field Grau paint to head with manufacturer three letter code ' fcc ' and dated 43 and a further black printed code and 43 date to body. Handle dated 43 with letter manufacturer code which appears to be ' db ' combined with a prominent inspection stamp. Removable cap reveals porcelain ball on plaited cord attached to pull igniter. All items disassemble and are inert. Some degradation to cap retention thread which does not affect the screwing on or off of the cap. . With the exception of the area of damage this grenade would rate well above average.
