The SAS Regiment developed a series of personalised items of webbing to supplement and augment existing kit issues. This addition to the belt order was officially noted as Stores Ref. CN 8465-99-130-0247 POUCH, AMMUNITION, 1958 Pattern, Self loading rifle and this particular example is marked thus along with a manufacture date of 1979 by MECO. This example in good used condition, clearly named to a trooper.
