WW2 MkIA Helmet Belgian Forces in Britain.

British WW2 MkIA helmet, essentially a reworked Brodie retaining it's mild steel reinforced rim with a replacement MkI liner and strap, with Belgian national colours to one side. No obvious markings to helmet shell with a size 6 1/2, 1939 dated liner by Helmets Ltd. Original khaki finish with painted Belgian national colours to one side. This helmet is clearly a WW2 example rather than one of the many refinished Belgian MkII helmets that abound with refinished paint, national colours either stencilled or in the form of a decal and different pattern liner. Good overall condition, dent to dome with the usual abrasions scrapes etc from use
