WW1 Imperial Fighting Knife.

WW1 German fighting knife featuring a 140mm false double edge blade, slab wood grips contained in a steel scabbard. No obvious markings to be found but typical of the plethora of official and unofficial patterns carried by Imperial troops. In good, overall condition with black japanned finish to cross guard and scabbard. Scabbard features a woven fabric belt loop, an economy measure to save leather.
