WW2 ' Memorial ' Lady's Silver Compact.

1942 Lady's hallmarked silver compact with engraved regimental badges for the Black Watch and the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders. Linked to these badges are names - John and Tobruk and Lindsay and Slim River. This would strongly suggest either the acknowledgement of a relative's service or more likely the name and place of death of sons or brothers. Potential for research of this poignant item. Good, overall condition with some minor marks.
