EARLY HEAVY THIRD REICH NAVY BROCADE BUCKLE IN SILVER.

This is part of a small collection purchased from a family in Germany. A nice EARLY silver belt buckle for the navy brocade belt. This is for the naval administration and is heavily silver plated of a BRASS base, so is much heavier than the aluminium ones. This buckle would have come from the mid-1930's. A fantastic buckle with great crystal clear detail. This buckle has been worn and used, as the silver finish to the front of the buckle has been polish or worn by the uniform. Silver was for naval administration, and is actually much rarer than the gilt varieties. Buckle is complete with the second slider to fit directly to the belt. A great display piece.
