ARMBAND FOR THIRD REICH VETERANS ASSOCIATION.

The Kyffhäuserbund (Kyffhäuser League) is an umbrella organization for War Veterans' and Reservists' Associations in Germany. It owes its name to the Kyffhäuser Monument (German: Kyffhäuserdenkmal), a memorial built on the summit of the 473 m high Kyffhäuser Mountain near Bad Frankenhausen in the state of Thuringia in central Germany. Was in existence for the millions of veterans from the First Word War. This is a membership armband with both 'bevo' shields sewn to a black wool armband. The earlier membership shield did not depict the swastika, the later one did, so both are represented here. Black cloth armband has a few moth holes, the shields themselves are fine. Rare to have both badges together.
