WW2 Grenade .303"Rifle, Practice No.36, MkII.
Intended for practice firing from the Grenade Cup Discharger the Grenade .303"Rifle, Practice No.36, MkII differs from it's predecessor by having a modified base plug. The plug and it's attendant gas check had a larger thread to allow for continuous firing which had a tendency to break the threaded studs of the MkI. This example retains 75% of it's original white finish with a base plug made by ' SEG ' in 1942, fully strippable.
