DAF Werkshar Leader Field Cap.

2nd design 1937 Pattern, Schiffchen type field cap worn by Werkshar leaders of the Deutsche Arbeits-Front. This cap was produced post 1938 when the piping was changed from blue to silver bullion. Silver wire embroidered national emblem with two aluminium pebbled buttons to front ( both buttons marked RZM and SS ). Half width leather sweatband marked ' Deutsche Wertarbeit with large RZM/DAF label to interior. Good, used condition with minor wear to lining and small loss to edge ( rear ).
