GQ Company Parachutist Qualification Badge, RAF, Para & Free French.

Scarce early WW2 ' Gregory & Quilter Parachute Company silver plated winged parachute canopy GQ badge .' IT depicts a parachutist, the slim wings inlaid with orangey red enamelling, the reverse impressed "G.Q. Parachutist". Excellent condition, still on it's original ' J.R.Gaunt & Son Ltd ' manufacturer's card.
The ' GQ ' - Gregory & Quilter badge was given to anyone who had completed training using their parachutes and was often used as a qualification badge by parachute forces.
