LARGE BRASS IMPERIAL BUGLE-NAMED TO A TOWN-COMPLETE.

This is a really nice large brass Imperial German Infantry/town/military bugle. Measuring some 16" overall. It is complete with the original mouthpiece which is attached to the bugle by a chain. It is maker marked the same as the bugle. No significant damage at all. A very few light dents here and there, but it is nearly 100 years old now! There is a brown leather hand grip wrapped around the main body of the bugle. The bell has an applied original Imperial eagle with FR on it's breast. Above that is the maker F.HOERTH - SAARBRUCKEN. This bugle was made there, used there, and was purchased there from a local German antique dealer. Imperial German bugles are rare to find in this condition, as well as being marked and identified. Plays extremely well!
