WW2 East Riding Yeomanry Grouping.

A large grouping of paperwork and insignia to Major Edmund Joseph Scott TD, East Riding Yeomanry. Scott an Ampleforth scholar, saw service in the BEF before seeing service with CMF and then in the Middle East. He is also believed to have served in Greece and Europe.
The grouping is centred around an excellent watercolour of Scott,drawn as an ' expression of gratitude to our liberators ', 2 x British Forces photo identities ( 1 x CMF, 1 x Middle East ), WW2 East Riding Yeo. history, numerous photos of armour, Shermans and Greyhound armoured cars. Various pieces of military ephemera included, letters etc with miniature medals, some insignia, large quantity of rank pips, East Riding Yeo buttons, 2 x ER Yeo. collar dogs and others. There is also a quantity of pre war paperwork, birth certificates etc along with various post war regimental assoc. etc material. An interesting grouping that would reward further research.
