Embroidered badge of the 36th Independent Infantry Brigade. Made up initially from men from the Kent area symbolised by the cobnut. Deployed as part of the BEF the unit was largely wiped out before being reformed and seeing service in the Middle East. Excellent condition with residual signs of having been removed from a uniform. Uncommon.
