WW1 ' The Tanks ' Postcard Set.

Late WW1 set of postcards published by Raphael Tuck & Sons. Full colour ' Oilettes ' entitled ' The Tanks ' they depict scenes of tanks ' charging enemy machine gun nest ' and ' Whippets crashing through enemy wire '. The depiction of Whippet tanks and the fact that the images were officially passed for publication dates these cards to approx. early 1918. Good bright images, some damage to one card.
