WW1 British Trench/General Maps Salonika Front.

A small grouping of WW1 maps of the Salonika front previously the property of Capt.V.Z.de Ferranti RE MC. De Ferranti went onto become chairman of the famous electronics firm that bears his name. The maps comprise 2 x 1:200,000 scale maps of Nis and Egri Palanka, 1 x 1:50,000 map entitled Valandovo and marked ' Confidential ' and 1 x 1:10,000 1917, French map overprinted with trench lines and what are probably ranging details. The maps show the territory around Serbia and it's border with Bulgaria. All items are in good to excellent used condition with various pencilled notations, names sketches etc. Uncommon items from a very much forgotten front of WW1
