French Mle 74 Gras Bayonet.

An excellent example of a French Mle 74 Epee bayonet for the Gras rifle. Matching numbers to bayonet and scabbard with profuse inspection stamps to bayonet and scabbard. The bright, rust free T section blade has the engraved markings for being manufactured n St Etienne in 1877 and looks to be in as good condition as when made. Contained in an undamaged scabbard with nearly all it's original blued finish intact. Pommel and quillion in good toned condition and other than some minor bruising to one grip this as good an example of this bayonet as I have seen.
