Pte. J.Burrows RASC Kitbag Grouping.

Uniform grouping to S/5958164 RSM.J.Burrows R.A.S.C. The kitbag contains a size 13 ( Height 5' 11" - 6', Chest 38" - 39", Waist 33" - 34" ) 1945 dated Battledress Blouse featuring rank insignia and RASC arm of service strips with 5 years war service chevrons. Size 13 BD trousers, no label, but inspection marks confirming 1945 manufacture, with attached braces. 1945 dated, Size 6 shirt and a 1943 dated size 3 woollen jumper , two pairs of heavily used khaki socks, anklets, woollen gloves field dressing and a box containing various items of insignia including a pair of 61 Div formation signs. All of this contained in a 1942 dated kitbag with inked ownership details. Most items looked to be in excellent condition and were probably only worn as best for stand down parades etc at the end of the War. No apparent moth or damage with some snags and minor holes to jumper.
