WW2 Japanese 50mm "Knee" Mortar HE Round with a Type 88 fuze. This projectile was designed for use in the Type 89 Mortar nicknamed the ' knee mortar ' by the Allies. This example was used by the Army, denoted by the red arming band. Both the body and the fuse are marked with kanji indicating date and model and serial number which is marked on the body and the removable propellant cup. 75% original finish, strippable.
