Pattern 1908 Bayonet Frog.

Standard 1908 Pattern bayonet frog with helve tab but 1940 dated. This example was one of the last '08 frogs manufactured when the War Office placed an order with the Mills Equipment Company for 43,000 frogs in May 1940 to make up for losses at Dunkirk, and to bridge the gap before widespread use of the P.37 Web Equipment. In good, used condition, lightly blancoed with faint date and manufacturer's details to reverse.
