WW2 RAF Casualty Grouping.

Medal and ephemera grouping to 1651396 Sgt.Roy Melbourne Saunders, a navigator who died on 21/11/1943 aged 21. Group consists of 39/45 Star, Defence and War in Air Ministry box ( bottom half only ), Air Ministry Casualty Branch letter to a Coalville address, RAF cap badge and a number of photographs. The photographs appear to be mostly of time spent in Canada training with No.72 Air Navigators Course and include a number of images taken on exercise named to Saunders in 1943. Others include personnel, aircraft and group shots. Recently acquired house clearance lot, requires further research
