Brass and enamel Coventry Ordnance Works Special War Service lapel badge. Originally having a lapel fitting this example has been contemporaneously converted for a brooch fitting. Some minor chips to enamel otherwise in good condition. The enamelled versions of this badge are quite scarce in comparison with their plain brass/gilt contemporaries.
