WW1 Memorial plaque to Arthur Kennish Brown 6188 1st Bn. Canadian Infantry who was killed on 23/05/1915 and is commemorated on the Vimy Memorial. Comes with research indicating that Brown, originally from England was killed by shellfire whilst digging a trench forward of the firing line near Festubert. Hit by shrapnel in the head he died immediately and was buried in the trench, his body subsequently being lost. Clean condition.
