WW2 U.S. OSS Grouping.

A particularly good insignia and document grouping to a member of the U.S. Office of Strategic Services, the American equivalent to SOE. The group to a Henry P Woolley, consists of an OSS service certificate, signed by W.J.Donovan head of OSS, Burma 101 Campaign Bar, miniature parachute wings,CBI badge, dog tags, photo and WW2 campaign medals. Woolley served with 35 Inf. Div before service with OSS and then onto Detachment 101. Detachment 101, OSS, was activated in September of 1942, the organization was formed to conduct intelligence and paramilitary operations in China with many of the operations taking place in Burma. The presence of both the 101 bar and OSS certificate make this grouping particularly appealing. Would reward further research.
