WW2 British 21st army Group RE BD.

1940 Patt. Battledress Blouse for a Captain in the Royal Engineers of the 21st Army Group ( G.H.Q. and L. of C. troops. ). Size 12 , Height 5' 9" - 5' 10", Chest 40" - 41", Waist 35" - 36" dated 1943 and manufacture red by ' W.A. Phelps '. Captain's rank to both shoulder straps, with embroidered RE shoulder titles, printed 21st Army formation signs and RE arm of service strips to both arms. Hand plaited para cord to r/h shoulder . Blouse has had collar lined and faced, with all buttons replaced with domed buttons covered with BD material. Medal ribbons indicating service in Africa and Europe with hints of a previous divisional sign to both shoulders. Unfortunately no indication of a name but BD is in excellent, moth-free condition.
