R.F.C. Mk.V Aviator's Watch.

8 Day, non-luminous Mk.V Aviator's watch as issued to the R.F.C. Swiss, 15 jewel movement by Octava contained in a white metal case with hinged movement cover and broad arrow ' A ' marked outer case. Probably later addition of a bow to make a more useable pocket watch out of what was originally a time piece that was mounted on a holder fixed to the aircraft 's instrument panel. In working order and keeping good time but looking at the movement could do with a clean and service. Case patinated overall with one small 1.5mm chip to glass edge, old repair marks to inside cover.
