WW2 Polish Battledress Blouse, 2nd Warsaw Armoured Div.

1945 dated B.D. Blouse to a ( Signals ? ) Lieutenant in the 2nd Warsaw Armoured Division, 2nd Polish Corps, 8th Army. The size 12 1940 Patt BD has some of the usual modifications the Poles were so fond of, including leather trim to cuffs, extra pleats etc. Bullion Poland shoulder titles , hand made 8th Army and printed 2 Corps and 2nd Armoured divisional signs. Silvered, Italian made rank stars with collar insignia that probably originated in Italy. The original owner was well fought having been awarded the Monte Cassino Cross, Virtuti Militari amongst others including British awards. In good, used, clean condition with some loss of bullion to shoulder titles.
