Operational Service Medal 2000, Bar Afghanistan to 30083851 Tpr.J.A.Agiadis LD. Tpr. Agiadis served with the Light Dragoons who until recently were equipped with Scimitars in the reconnaissance role. Recruited principally from the North East the Light Dragoons first deployed to Afghanistan in Herrick 5 with 3 Commando Brigade followed by Herrick 6 with 12 Mechanised Brigade. There have been subsequent deployments with the unit sustaining casualties. This medal unresearched and in excellent, clean condition mounted for wear as issued.
