RAF- Russian Ghoolie Chit.

Double sided, two part Ghoolie chit printed on silk in Russian and English. Featuring a prominent Union flag to both sides and Russian script, with pronunciation tips, plus a list of instructions when encountering Russian troops. Contained in it's original acetate cover with cloth ties for wear around the neck. This type of chit was introduced for RAF crews involved in the shuttle bombing raids which involved over flying and landing in Russian territory. Chit in excellent, clean condition with a number inked onto one side, cover is in good condition with some small splits and tears and light marking to the notoriously fragile material.
