RAF 1940 Flying Suit / Irving Harness Suit

RAF Combined Pattern Flying Suit / Irvin Harness Suit .Size: Large. Dated 10th and 17th October 1940.
Manufactured by Irving Air Chute of Great Britain Ltd.
Dual Purpose type with provision for clip-on seat or chest type parachute packs. Manufactured from heavy olive drab cotton with twin front zip opening and zipped pockets. The suit is in excellent unused condition with leather tabs to zips, all of which run freely. Generally clean and without wear or damage with some light storage marks to lower front. Large Air Ministry and A.I.D. marked label.
