WW2 Polish Battledress Blouse 14th Artillery Rgt, 1st Grenadier Div.

1942 dated, Size 15 BD ( 5'11" - 6' ) Blouse to a private in the 14th Artillery Regiment of the 1st Grenadier Division. Typically for Polish tunics, this example has been tailored with padded shoulders, lined open collar and pleats to the reverse. Embroidered Poland shoulder titles to both shoulders with Artillery flashes to both collars. White metal ' 14 ' numerals to altered shoulder boards with printed 1st Grenadier patch to left sleeve and lanyard. In good used condition with a contemporary repair to the under arm of the right sleeve and two areas of minor mothing to left sleeve. The pocket contained a slip of paper with the details ' Gunner Albin Szot, 14th Art.Rgt. 1st Grenadier Div.' although the ownership cannot be verified.
