Shropshire Yeomanry B.D. Blouse.

Large size B.D.Blouse to the Shropshire Yeomanry as part of 6 Army Group Royal Artillery, Eighth Army. This B.D. was probably worn by a member of either 75 or 76 Regiment R.A. which were made from the Shropshire Yeomanry when they were dismounted and became Artillery.
The size 14 B.D. blouse 1939 ( ? ) dated features a tailored open collar with locally made, probably Italian, insignia with Shropshire Yeomanry titles, 6 AGRA, war service chevrons and artificer or fitter trade patch to r/h sleeve and 8th Army and good conduct chevron to l/h sleeve. Medal ribbons to left breast indicate service in Africa and Italy, the main area of operations for the two regiments. In excellent condition with lifting of stitching to one s/title.
