S Coded S84/98 Bayonet - matching numbers.

S84/98 Bayonet with matching numbers to bayonet and scabbard. Coded S/245G, a manufacturer which is as yet unidentified but with the ' G ' signifying manufacture in 1935. Bayonet in deep blued condition with minor rubbing to high points, a small area of pitting to cross guard, and various inspection stamps. Scabbard with matching manufacturer code and matching number 3394 a. However, scabbard has some corrosion damage to reverse and wear to the bluing to lower part with the bluing intact where protected by a frog. With a better scabbard this would be an exceptional early example.
