British 07 Patt. Bayonet with quillon.

Early British Sword Bayonet Pattern 1907 dated December 1908 and manufactured by Wilkinson. Featuring an Edward VII cypher, various inspection marks and unit marked to the East Surrey Regt. This example in good, used condition with residual traces of khaki paint to crossguard and quillon, painting was often undertaken to eliminate reflection. Slight deformation of muzzle ring with good condition grips with clear inspection stamps. Accompanied by a MkII, 1915 dated scabbard.
