Escape and Evasion Razor Blade.

An individually wrapped razor blade that has been magnetized so that when suspended by a thread in a glass of water it would act as a compass for escape and evasion purposes. These were issued in escape packs and comforts parcels with other blades but only one blade per pack was magnetized. Various different brands were used this one made by The Fleet Safety Razor Blade by The Dominion Steel Corp. Ltd. of Sheffeield. Light rust staining to blade otherwise in very good condition in original packaging.
