Pre WW2/WW2 Grenadier Guards headwear grouping.
Two caps to the Grenadier Guards worn by Capt.M.H.Farebrother, one SD cap and one worn with the undress uniform. Both caps by Edward Smith of Bond St and both featuring high relief bullion cap badges with the SD cap carrying a name label. Both caps come in a named, japanned tin carrying a shipping label with Farebrother's address in Horsham. A quick search reveals that Farebrother attended Eton, and played tennis and cricket to a high standard, he went on to serve as ADC to the Governor of South Australia, would reward further research.
Both caps in excellent, worn condition with no evidence of moth.
