Royal Carmarthen Militia, O/R's shako plate C1800-16.

A very uncommon die-stamped brass example of an O/R's shako plate of the Royal Carmarthen Militia from the period 1800 - 16 . It takes the form of being simply the Prince of Wales’s crest, with the distinctive fan shape coronet. In good overall condition with some verdigris and only one remaining of the three original soldered on, soft iron loop fasteners. (approx. 11cm x 9cm)
