WW2 U.S. Pacific photo album.

WW2 American photo album containing 117 b/w photos appertaining to the Pacific theatre. Contained in a contemporary scrapbook, photos are mounted on typical US album leaves which go fragile and disintegrate, these have just begun and consequently looked frayed. Picture content is broadly divided between some fairly gruesome shots of Japanese KIA and native women, most of whom are in a state of undress! Many of the shots are those that could be purchased from unit photographers but there are a significant number of unrecognised views with some taken some time after hostilities ceased. Some scrawled annotations and some old sellotape mounts. Unusual but unpleasant.
