Luftwaffe Luftkreigsschule tunic.

Luftwaffe service tunic or Tuchrock for the rank of Gefreiter in an aerial warfare school (Luftkreigsschule). Standard Luftwaffe four pocket tunic with early droop pattern breast eagle and with yellow collar piping indicating flight units. Sew-in type shoulder boards, yellow piped with chain stitched 'KS' insignia. Machine sewn collar boards with two gulls to each board and Gefreiter rank chevron to left arm. Matching 'Extra Fein' aluminium buttons with manufacturing and date marks to the inside to the cotton twill, full lining. Unit mark present below internal pocket, all markings present but indistinct. In generally good, worn condition with some minor mothing to left front apron of the tunic and some wear to the collar and cuffs but with the pile of the cloth still present and fluffy. Good, original, used tunic.
