A good die stamped brass example of an other rank's post 1901 helmet plate to the South Wales Borderers. Universal crowned star pattern with a SWB centre. Lugs to star modified but present, three lug fixing to centre. Lightly patinated overall with some traces of gilt to centre and reverse. [
