Medical Service Soldbuch and dogtag.

Soldbuch,15/06/40 to Friedrich Konig, Corporal Army Medical Service with Dogtag marked '5./San.Ers.Abt.5'. Konig served the whole of the war with San.Kp.1/5 of the 5.Inf.Div. based in France until Mar 41 then into Russia with the now renamed 5.Jag.Div. serving at Staraja Russa, Witebsk, Kowel, and Narew. The unit finally withdrew into Eastern Germany to the Oder in 1945. Konig was entitled to the KVK II and the Winter War medal. Well filled Soldbuch in good used condition.
