9" (230mm) china plate by Wedgewood that formed part of the Officer's Mess service for the Queens Own Dorset Yeomanry. Features a gold edge with decoration in relief to the rim and a Dorset Yeomanry device to the centre. Wedgewood backstamp and manufacturing codes to the reverse and painted number (presumably a museum or collection number). In excellent condition with firing damage at the 7 O'clock position.
