Luftwaffe Soldbuch grouping to a Radar Specialist.

Luftwaffe document grouping to a Uffz.Gerhard Engels. Comprising a Labour book showing he studied at Cologne university. A Kennkarte, Soldbuch, technical confirmation and an entrance permit. It would appear that Engels was a radar specialist who served with Ln.Rgt.42 of XII Fliegerkorps a radar unit supporting night fighter activities over Germany and then transferred to a Fu.MG.1/I.d.Lw. a radar maintenance and repair unit. Further evidence of his training is provided by his technical confirmation that he is qualified as a radio operator and radar technician. The ausweis shows Engels was permitted to enter radar installations for carrying out maintenance and repair. Generally good, used condition with some tape repairs. Unusual.
