A THIRD REICH SA DONATION ‘TINNIE’ FROM 1935.

A circular tonnie stamped from zinc with a single rear stick pin. Has a large SA symbol as the main feature with an explanation running around the edge. At the bottom it says 1935 SA Standort Weisbaden.
This says' for compatriots needing a rest'. This would no doubt have been issued for a fund-raising event to get people to give money to send those in the local area deemed to require it away for a rest or holiday of some sort. A 'Standort' was a place where a unit was based, a bit like a garrison for the military. The SA units in Wiesbaden were SA-Standarten 56,80 and 224, plus Reserve-Standarte R150. They were part of SA-Brigade 150.
