Wehrpass to Obergefreiter Martin Hogner of 1./Gren.Rgt.435. Hogner from Trier initially joined 1.Kf.Ers.Abt.25 and then ended his service with Gren.Rgt.435 in Russia when he was killed in July 1944. Accompanying his well filled Wehrpass are three award certificates for the Ostmedaille, Infantry Assault badge and EKII awarded in 1942 and the latter two awards in 1944. With the group is Hogner's award card for the SA Sports badge showing Hogner in SA uniform and another photograph in civilian dress.Would undoubtedly reward further research.
