Post War Commando beret.

A good, characterful example of a Royal Marine Commando veteran's beret. Private purchase from Louis Bernard & Jack Blair a service outfitters with branches at various times in Plymouth, Gosport, Fareham and Portsmouth. The beret has been carefully shaped and shaved to the nap. The blackened RM badge is backed with black plastic and held together with the ubiquitous black insulation tape used by all forces. Previous owner's name ' Evans ' in white to the lining.
